Most inspections take around 45 minutes. If you call us early in the day we can almost always provide a same-day service. On the rare occasion same-day isn’t available, we’ll come at the earliest convenient time for you.
Don’t panic. Queensland Transport allows 14 days to fix any identified defects and return the vehicle for re-inspection. Your inspection fee includes one re-inspection within that 14-day window, so as long as the repairs are done you won’t pay the full fee again. We’ll give you a clear list of exactly what needs attention.
Yes, absolutely. In Queensland a safety certificate is required before a vehicle is advertised or offered for sale, and this applies to cars, motorcycles, trailers and caravans. Queensland Transport can issue heavy fines if a vehicle is advertised for sale without one, so it’s simply not worth the risk.
